Northeast Ohio Politics
Beaten like a dead horse is the notion that Conservatives are unhappy with our presidential nominee from the GOP, John McCain. We're sick and tired of the GOP guaranteeing us Conservatives a place at the table and promising real results such as making tax cuts permanent, repealing the Death Tax, lowering or eliminating Capital Gains Taxes, leaving Roe vs. Wade to the states as the U.S. Constitution indicates, etc. The Republican Party has temporarily delivered on these promises at various points in our history, but it is a constant struggle against the forces of Liberalism. We need solid Conservatives, not wishy-washy, Moderate Republicans to carry out the work of the U.S. Constitution. I've offered a number of suggestions for those who ask what to do about the current no-good GOP. One of my suggestions is to identify local politicians, support them with your time and/or money, and then vote for them. Local politicians today are the national politicians of tomorrow. As a service to our local readers, we've taken the initiative to indentify and promote Conservative politicians in the northeast Ohio area. We have the opportunity now to promote and elect politicians that, after they've represented us well on the local level and graduated to bigger and better things, can make us proud on the national level. It all starts here. As November, 2008, approaches, visit XEKE.com's Northeast Ohio Politics page to learn about the politicians that are best equipped to advance the Conservative agenda: smaller government, fiscal responsibility, millitary strength and moral clarity. If you know of a local politician that is not featured here, have them contact us so that we can provide complete information to our readers. |
