In 1994, Newt Gingrich led the Republican Party to a majority in Congress thanks to his "Contract with America." Now, 15 years later, it is time for the Republican Party to take back Washington from the feeble hands of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. We need more open and honest dialog with America. We need to take the political fight to the "Progressive" leaning Democratic Party. We need to tell Barack Hussein Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, the rest of Washington, and a blatantly biased media that we Americans care more about low gas prices and energy independence than we do about a caribou. We need to tell Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and the rest of the regressive progressives that taking money out of the pockets of hard working Americans is wrong for our economy. We need to tell Barack, Nancy, Harry, and the rest of the retreat and defeat liberals that America must WIN the war on terror, and not waive the literal white flag of surrender. We must stand up to the radical left and tell them that marriage is between one man and one woman. We must defend the lives of 4,000+ innocent, unborn babies that are slaughtered every day, against the culture of death that is not only accepted, but embraced by the likes of Barack Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi. We must protect the rights of all Americans against Obama, Reid, and Pelosi, as they try to usurp the 2nd Amendment, and make gun ownership in America illegal. We must defend our borders and our sovereignty against illegal immigration. Barack Obama claimed that a "typical white person" "clings to guns and religion." You're darn right we cling to our guns and religion- we have to, because progressive, liberal elitists like yourself will do everything in your power to make sure that Americans no longer have guns or religion.

XEKE.com is happy to finally see mainstream media, and fellow Conservative analysts demand that we drill for oil domestically. I wrote just over a year ago, when gas had reached $2.50/gallon that in the very near future if you could find a gas station with gas under $3.00/gallon, that there would be lines out of the parking lot and into the streets. I also wrote that we are only a damaging hurricane and/or geo-political unrest away from $6.00/gallon. Let's fast-forward to today, June 22, 2008. Gas is $4.00/gallon. We are entering hurricane season. Iran is playing games with nukes. Israel is threatening to destroy the nuclear plants in Iran. Is it too far-fetched to think that if we have a devastating hurricane that destroyed refineries and/or if Israel and Iran went to war, that gas would reach $6.00/gallon? What is more disturbing is that Obama does not think that $4.00/gallon gas is unreasonable. In fact, he supports higher gas prices, because the higher the gas price, the less people will drive, and his goal of punishing America in the name of the defense of "man made global warming" will be realized. We MUST drill in America. We MUST drill in Alaska. We MUST drill off the coast of Florida, California, and any other coastal region that may produce energy independence. We must drill in the Dakotas, where a County Council has already approved the construction of an oil refinery. The ballot initiative passed overwhelmingly, proving that Americans want to lower gas prices as well as create energy independence.

Obama's solution to high gas prices is to punish the oil companies with an unconstitutional "windfall profit tax." This half witted non-solution to energy independence would simply increase gas prices, and force domestic oil companies to move overseas. I watched the debut of "Black Gold" last week. This is a real-life TV show that follows three teams of oilmen in West Texas. The low man on the totem -poll, the "worm" can earn up to $75,000 a year with overtime and incentives. That's right, oil jobs create jobs that START at $75,000/year. Can you imagine how many jobs would be created if the hypocritical progressive democrats, and the wimpy, cowardly Republicans in Congress would simply stop the limitations of domestic energy independence. I know that in the State of Ohio, where manufacturing jobs are becoming extinct, that thousands of employees would love an opportunity to make $75,000/year drilling for oil in the Great Lakes. Our struggling state economy would receive a "windfall" of revenue, and states like Ohio and Michigan could finally get out of the economic black holes that we are currently living in. I love animals as much as the next guy. I have two dogs who are like family, I support local animal shelters, and I enjoy nature. That being said, Genesis 1:26 tells us that God gave man dominion over animals. Barack, and the so-called Progressive elitists, believe that God did not give us dominion over man, but rather man should suffer and sacrifice so that animals can be safe and live in tranquility. If I am wrong, then why in the world are we not drilling in Alaska? The caribou? ANWR? Are you kidding me? We Americans are supposed to sacrifice and pay $4.00+/gallon for gas so that we do not disturb the caribou? We should not create thousands of jobs that pay more than some doctors make, because of an animal? We should give hundreds of billions of dollars to Middle Eastern nations every year for oil, so that we do not disturb ANWR? Really? Really, Barack?

According to Barack Obama, I am considered wealthy. I am not middle class. If you are married, possibly with a child, and you make $30,000, you too are considered wealthy. You see, Barack Obama wants to roll back the Bush Tax cuts for all "wealthy Americans." First of all, the major flaw with our current tax system is that it punishes success, innovation, and job creation. That being said, thanks to my friend, Kevin, who did some research on the IRS tax rates in 1999 (under Clinton) compared to 2006 (after the Bush tax cuts), are simply stunning. An American who made $30,000 in 1999 or a family who had an income of $50,000 in 1999 paid significantly higher taxes than after the Bush tax cuts. What does that mean to you? If you listen to Obama as he promises to get rid of the "Bush tax cuts for wealthy Americans," and if you make $30,000 (single) or $50,000 (family) then you will be rewarded with a huge tax increase under an Obama Presidency. The good news is, that you can tell all of your friends that you are no longer stuck in the middle class like the rest of us, but thanks to Obama's bass ackwards approach to taxing Americans, you are now considered a "wealthy American."

So, I am going to vote for John McCain- no big surprise. I can actually say that for the first time in my voting life (coming up on 12 years), that I am honestly voting for the lesser of two evils. Senator McCain calls his tour the "Straight Talk Express." With all due respect to the next President of the United States of America, nobody gives "Straight Talk" like XEKE.com. On September 11, 2001, Radical Islam waged war on America. I have to agree with our friends on the left. This war is an unjust war. That's right, I will say it again, this war is an unjust war. Confused? Allow me to explain. This war is unjust because Radial Islam attacked us unjustly. Despite what Obama and his life-long pastor, Rev. J-Wright, believe, America did not deserve the attacks we received on 9-11. Despite what loyal Obama friend and ally, William Ayres will tell you, America did not get what we deserved on September 11. This is an unjust war, because we should have never been attacked in the first place. But we were, and sadly, thousands of Americans lost their lives in the blink of an eye.

President Bush and Barack Obama have vastly differing approaches in dealing with an attack on American soil. Without going into a detailed history lesson of the past few years, and the successes of the War on Terror, President Bush acted justly and responsibly as he crushed the Taliban, freed Iraq, brought stability to the Middle East, and took the fight to the enemy. After admittedly suffering a few hiccups along the way, General David Patraeus implemented the "surge" and there is absolutely no discussion anymore as to whether or not we are winning the war on terror in Iraq. Have you seen or heard anything about the War on Terror by the drive-bys in the media? Of course not. Why not? They are invested in defeat. Political "experts" in the drive by media have been saying for years that we cannot win this war, and that we should bring the troops home now. Now, as violence is down over 90% in the al Anbar Province, and al Qaeda is being systematically destroyed, the drive by media flat out refuses to report on the successes in Iraq. The moment that something wrong happens, or there is a minor setback, the story makes the front page of the New York Times, and is broadcasted on every NBC news program, yet given the obvious success of the surge, there is absolutely no mention of the War anymore.

Barack Obama has a different plan to deal with the War on Terror. His first plan is to waive the white flag of surrender, and bring the troops home. Even when pressed about what he would do if the field generals told him the grave consequences of withdrawing in haste, would he still withdrawal the troops, he said yes. Let me be crystal clear with you. The moment we leave Iraq, without a definitive victory, is the moment we have sealed our fate and have allowed the enemy to attack us on our soil again. Barack does have a plan on dealing with an enemy if we are attacked again. He will give it great thought. He may visit with the leader of the rogue nation that attacks us, and talk things out. This appeasement plan failed during World War I and it will clearly fail in the War on Terror. Barack does not care. He is a pacifist appeaser who is in committed to defeat in Iraq.

Barack Obama has a 100% approval rating by NARAL, NOW, and the rest of the pro-abortion organizations that embrace a culture a death. The Liberal Progressives have shown that they have zero respect for traditional values. If you want to see what would happen to our great nation if Obama is elected President with a Democrat majority in Congress, look no further than the state of California. If Obama wins, he will possibly have enough support in Congress to have complete control for the first two years. Supreme Court Justices & appointments to other District Courts could create an American society that would be unrecognizable than what we have today.

We have the greatest nation in the world. We are not perfect, but we are the greatest nation in the world. Bottom line. Hands down. End of discussion. We are great because we are a sovereign nation based on laws, values, freedoms, and rights. Our proud nation is being deluged with illegal aliens, and our domestic security is weakened every day. We must build a wall on our boarder. We must enforce illegal immigration laws. We must punish any city that does not support federal illegal immigration laws. If a Progressive Liberal does not believe in enforcing immigration laws, they should immediately have all federal funding stripped away. If a local official does not support abortion, he/she cannot shut down abortion clinics. That being said, a local official who does not support illegal immigration laws must be forced to follow the letter of the law. We must build the wall now. We must round up illegals, and deport them immediately. We must punish businesses who hire illegal aliens. We must stop paying for health care, education, housing, food stamps, and any other social program that is intended to help Americans, not any free loader who decides to enter our country illegally, give birth to an anchor baby, and immediately start leeching off the back of hard working Americans.

I have never owned a gun. I have never shot a gun. That being said, I am a life time member of the NRA. I am a membership recruiter for the NRA. I completely support the NRA, as they defend the rights of all Americans. Barack, Harry, and Nancy seem to forget about the 2nd Amendment every time they open their mouth and speak out against lawful gun ownership. Gun laws only hurt law abiding citizen. Gun restriction laws violate the Constitution. If it were not for the NRA, and their vast grass roots support, the Liberals would have seized control of guns from Americans decades ago. I support guns rights for all law abiding Americans. I completely oppose the will of Obama, who just a few short years ago, checked a box on a survey that said that he supports outlawing all guns in America.

I urge all Americans to support PETA: People for the Ethical Treatment of America. We need to make sure that our elected leaders will stand up to the Liberal Progressive Democrat Party, and take back America. We must drill now. We must have energy independence. We must win the War on Terror. We must protect innocent, unborn children. We must stand up for traditional values. We must defend our borders. We must defend the 2nd Amendment. We must not tax hard working Americans to death. We need to bring common sense solutions back to Washington. If we fail to bring common sense values back to Washington, we will be clinging to a lot more than just our guns and religion.
