TERROR CANCER We are now celebrating the four year anniversary of the beginnings of Iraqi Freedom. The liberal news media outlets such as Keith Olbermann (believe it or not, his show has not been cancelled yet), Hardball with Chris Matthews, and Meet the Press with Tim Russert, have intensified their anti-American rhetoric. These media hacks are dishonesty and distortion personified. "Men" such as Olbermann, Matthews, and Russsert are so blinded by hatred and rage towards American success in the War on Terror that they have not and will not stop at anything to try to advance their yellow press agenda to persuade the American voter that this necessary war is wrong, illegal, immoral, etc.
Let me say this once, and one time only. NODOBY WANTS WAR. Clear enough? That being said, sometimes we have to do things that we do not want to do, because it is the right thing to do. Hear me out- A loved goes to the doctor because they felt a lump and are not sure what they should do. The loved one goes to a doctor, and the doctor fears that the lump is a cancerous tumor. You have two choices- After getting numerous "second opinions" from the experts, and they all confirm that it is indeed cancer- you can either turn a blind eye to common sense and not receive treatment or you can battle the cancer, and do everything humanly possible to defeat the cancer. The first option is the weak and cowardly decision that clearly makes absolutely no sense. The second option will be a tough road, filled with pain, sickness, misery, setbacks, sadness, but in the end, God willing, the cancer will be destroyed, and life will be more rewarding, happy, and hopefully healthy. Hopefully, you are following the analogy between cancer and the War on Terror. In case you are not following along with me, allow me to simplify even further- The first decision in fighting cancer (or terrorism) is to do nothing about it, ignore the facts, and turn a blind eye to logic and common sense (this is how Liberals choose to fight the War on Terror). The second decision in fighting cancer (terrorism) actually uses common sense and logic (this is how Conservatives choose to fight terrorism). The second decision understands and accepts that the journey will be a struggle, filled with pain, setbacks, and moments of misery, but in the end, it is the only way to sustain life. The War on Terror is necessary. On September 11, 2001, militant Islamic fascist fundamentalists declared war on the United States (actually, they tried many times before, but President Clinton was too preoccupied with polls and public opinion to do anything about it).
Contrary to the uber-leftist bloggers, politicians, media members, and so-called activists, America is not evil. Our troops are not the bad guys. The Bush Administration is not the enemy. Anti-American- Anti-War protestors try to convince Americans that America is wrong. The truth is that angry, militant, Muslim extremists are the enemy. Let me say this again- President Bush, our troops, and our country as a whole are not the enemy- Muslim extremists are. |
