Reflections on Sharpton

First of all, please let me say firmly and clearly that other than the Anna Nicole Smith saga, this is THE most tired and played news story of 2007 (and we are only 10 days or so into this non-story news story). Also, I am not a Don Imus supporter, apologist, or fan. He is a blatant liberal shock jock, and in my mind, his career was highly overrated. I understand that he did do a lot of good things for sick kids, but his liberal views were nauseating. I do think that it is funny how quickly the liberal media turned their collective back on their liberal ally, to make themselves somehow look more accepting to an overreacting African American media hype machine. I mistakenly turned on MSNBC to see what Imus was saying the other day, and he had on another liberal talking head and in what seemed to be a cry out for support to his fellow liberal Bush-bashers, Imus went on to say that President Bush used to be viewed as one of the worst presidents in U.S. history in only the left leaning community but now it is clearly a fact the President Bush is the worst president of all time. Great job Donny boy- throw President Bush under the bus to try to curry support and defense from the liberal left. A funny thing happened though-even though Imus has had a career built on left leaning bias, he was still smacked down by the liberal community.

Al Sharpton is a punk. Al Sharpton is a lying, no good, dishonest, hypocritical media whore. Have I made my opinions about Al Sharton clear enough? This "leader" of the African American community got his panties in a bunch over Don Imus calling some rough looking, inked up women's basketball players nappy headed hos. Come on. CBS AND NBC fired Imus for saying this. Again, come on. These "strong leaders" on the Rutgers basketball team claimed that they will be scarred for life after being called nappy headed hos. Are you kidding me? What in the world ever happened to "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me?"

Al Sharpton has made his career out of vitriol, lies, hypocricy, and hate towards white America.

Can these women ever survive in the real world? If the worst thing that has ever happened to them is that they were called a name in what was obviously a 10 second joke, then they clearly cannot survive the real world where people every day are faced with name calling, insults, and negativity. This story is more about an over reaction by Al Sharpton, then about Don Imus. The entire Don Imus firing has little to do with his satirical analysis of the Rutgers women's basketball team, but it is entirely the works of a noted racial instigator- Al Sharpton. Please allow me to give you a living history of Al Sharpton, and you can draw your on conclusions about the man himself. I will give a brief synopsis of the pathetic, hypocritical, racist career of Al Sharpton, and let’s see who the real racist is, and who should really be banned from TV and Radio-

The Crown Heights Riot

In 1991, Yankel Rosenbaum, a 29 year old Australian Jew, was killed in New York City by an black mob, led by Al Sharpton. The mob was chanting "Kill the Jews," after a young black boy was ACCIDENTALLY struck by a car driven by a Jewish man. An hysterical Al Sharpton led the black community in a hate driven, anti-semitic rage that led to the stabbing death (murder) of an innocent Jewish man. How in the world can anybody take Al Sharpton seriously? This man single-handedly turned the accidental death of a young black boy into a racist, cowardly, brutal murder of Yankel Rosenbaum in 1991. Where has the media attention been for this truly sad story? Al Sharpton and his ilk have brought up things that Don Imus has said over the past 20 years, but nobody, and I mean NOBODY has called out Sharpton for his actions that led to the death of innocent Jew, until now.

Tawana Brawley

In late November 1987, a 15 year old black girl named Tawana Brawley showed up after she had been missing for four days, in a garbage bag, clothes torn, covered in feces, and racist epithets written on her body with charcoal. The country was amazed when she claimed that a group of white men (six police officers) had raped and kidnapped her. Al Sharpton, looking for an excuse to damn the white man and get his face on TV, took up this case, and put his media spin on the case. Before any investigations had even taken place to see if this young girl was telling the truth, or to get further details, Al Sharpton took his vitriol to the streets and to the media. Sharpton, early in his career of not allowing the facts to get in the way of an over-sensationalized media driven lie, started pointing his racist, misinformed fingers, in the direction of, who else, innocent white people. A grand jury concluded that no charges would be brought forward. An outrage you say! A black girl is raped and kidnapped by six white police officers and there are no criminal charges.

No justice, no peace! Uh oh- something funny happened on the way to the grand jury- the truth interrupted Al Sharpton’s media posturing and grandstanding. There was no evidence of ANY sexual assault, because it never happened. Further more, she was never kidnapped, nor had she been missing for four days. She was not malnourished, there was no evidence of any sexual assault, she lied. Tawana Bradley made the ENTIRE story up. One of the prosecutors, a white male, who had been viscously dragged through the mud, as an alleged conspirator and cover up to a crime that was never committed, later sued, and won, a judgement of over $300,000 from Al Sharpton and his hate brigade. That's right, Al Sharpton attempted to destroy the lives of six innocent white men, as he took the side of a lying black female lied about a sexual assault that never occurred in 1987, some 18 years before the Duke Lacrosse scandal.

Duke LaCrosse

I will not get into great detail with this story, because if you do not know the basics of the Duke Lacrosse case, then you have been living under a rock for the past 13 months. Crystal Gail Mangum, a black stripper, accused three white Duke Lacrosse players of raping her at a party some 13 months ago. Before any evidence was given, before any investigation had started, Al Sharpton stood in front of the world to condemn the Duke Lacrosse players, as well as wealthy, upper class, white America. Sharpton convicted these three white boys of rape, and led a media charge to damn these boys, before a trial had even started. Al Sharpton went on The O'Reilly Factor and stated that Duke should give Crystal Gail Mangum a full scholarship. Duke University caved, and booted the three young men from campus, canceled the lacrosse season, and 83 liberal, elitist, clueless professors signed a petition to publicly persecute the three Duke Lacrosse players. The defendant’s attorneys proved that their was no DNA evidence. Crystal Gail Mangum changed her story time after time, but Sharpton continued to support her, while damning the white boys. 13 months later, millions of dollars spend in legal defense, and three lives tarnished forever, North Caroling Attorney General, Roy Cooper, confirmed what the three Duke Lacrosse players had been saying for over a year- they were innocent.

Now, Al Sharpton has led the charge to have Don Imus kicked off of TV and radio for a joke about the Rutgers women basketball players. Sharpton and the Rutgers players claimed that Imus' joke scarred them forever, and now Imus is no longer on TV or radio. What about the three innocent white Lacrosse players at Duke? The actions of Crystal Gail Mangum, a lying black stripper, TRULY ruined the life of the Duke Lacrosse players. Where is Al Sharpton now? If a joke can ruin the lives of the entire Rutgers women's basketball team, what do you suppose the lying cry of rape that Crystal Gail Mangum levied against the Duke Lacrosse players did?

The truth is simple and clear. Al Sharpton has made his career out of vitriol, lies, hypocricy, and hate towards white America. Through his actions and deeds from the Crown Heights Riot, to the Tawana Brawley Case, to the Duke Lacrosse scandal (and everything in between), Sharpton has made a career out of creating lies, media hype, slander and hate towards white America. I will never defend Don Imus, because he is a liberal Bush-bashing elitist. . .but with that being said, he does not deserve to be the next punching bag for Al Sharpton and his racist agenda.
