PATRIOTIC DISSENT:
The Ultimate Oxymoron

Too many times I have seen a Hybrid driving, tree hugging liberal with a "Dissent is Patriotic" bumper sticker. First, please allow me to digress. Liberals are all too often branded "open minded." Libs try to appear to be understanding, kind, free thinking, and accepting. This is true, but only to other libs who look, say, feel, and think exactly the same way they do. Let me make this perfectly clear, when libs say that "Dissent is Patriotic," they mean that they think it is patriotic to despise our military and defend the rights of terrorists.

Here are some examples of where liberals feel that dissent is patriotic. Rosie O'Donnell, former host of The View, routinely damned and cursed the military and President Bush. To make matters worse, when defending terrorists, she once sympathized with the very people that live and breathe thinking of ways to destroy America, and she said that "Terrorists have families too." Rosie was cursing our brave soldiers for killing terrorists, while empathizing with the poor, misunderstood terrorists. Lest we forget she actually referred to our soldiers as terrorists.

If you curse our soldiers...liberals say that you are patriotic.

Senator John Edwards, 2008 Democratic Presidential hopeful, stated that the War on Terror is simply a "bumper sticker" that the evil Conservatives and President Bush have conjured up to scare the American people. Senator Edwards, who lives in a house that is bigger than most neighborhoods, has taken his message of "Two Americas" across the country, charging $50,000 a speech, getting $400 haircuts, all in an effort to connect with middle class, working class Americans.

Other liberal, Democratic politicians, including Dick Durbin, Jack Murtha, John Kerry, and Dennis Kucinich (as well as dozens of other Congressmen and Senators) have attempted to spread their anti-American agenda to advance their pathetic political careers, at the expense of our brave military. These liberal politicians have sold out our brave soldiers while calling them terrorists and murderers.

The ACLU, and other liberal, Secular Progressives have vehemently defended the "right" to burn the American flag. The same libs who defend the right to burn our proud flag, refuse to allow Conservative radio talk show hosts their freedom of speech.

Recently, at the Live Earth concert, RFK Jr. accused anyone who does not support global warming as being traitors to our country. He singled out Rush, Glen Beck, and other Conservative media members (such as XEKE.com) as committing treason, simply because we do not fall prey to the lies and myths of the fable of global warming.

In short, if you curse our soldiers, defend terrorists, support the right to burn our proud flag, and support the fallacy of global warming, liberals say that you are patriotic, and you have every right to condemn our President and our troops. That being said, if you support our troops, support the War on Terror, proudly display the American flag, and question global warming, you are traitor to the country, guilty of treason, who should be booted from our country. Thank you RFK Jr. for showing America, and the world, how truly "open minded" and accepting that liberals are to everyone.
