MY AMERICA:
The Greatest Nation in the World

I love America. There, I said it. I believe that America is the best country in the entire free world. I believe that our arrogance is justified, because we are the best, and we are not afraid to say it (we can actually back it up). I love the fact that we have the bravest men and women in the world in our military that have voluntarily committed to defend everything that is great about America. I was very discouraged when I watched the AFL-CIO Democratic debates last week to see so many angry, disgruntled, misguided people complaining about what is wrong with America. The people in the audience that read the spoon fed questions handed down by their union bosses did nothing but wrongly accuse America as a nation for their own personal problems. The Democrats view America as a nanny state, where any and all problems are solved by the government. The union members at the AFL-CIO debate were looking for hand outs. I think John Edwards may be on to something when he talks about "Two Americas." My America is one filled with hope, opportunity. The Democrats' America is one of doom, gloom, and despair.

Can you imagine if the ACLU set up shop in a Middle Eastern country?

I love America for many reasons. I love the fact that two normal guys from Northeast Ohio can start a website, and with hard work, determination, innovation, passion, drive, focus, and perseverance, have the opportunity to turn the dream of a successful Conservative machine that is supported throughout the entire country, into reality. I love that in America anybody can honestly and truly do and be anything they want to be. I love the fact that if I am not happy with my current job, benefits, health care coverage, pay, etc., that I can openly search for a better job. I love that if I am not educated or qualified to reach my current career goals that I can receive the education and training necessary to move up in life. I love that in America the only limitations that anyone has are the limitations they place upon themselves.

I always wonder why liberals hate America as much as they do. Can you imagine what would happen to liberals if they lived in a country that was not democratic, capitalistic, and did not have our Constitution? Can you imagine if the ACLU set up shop in a Middle Eastern country and attempted to sue every school that supported or offered open prayer? Can you imagine what would happen to a tree-hugging liberal environmentalist who protested in an oil field in Iran? Can you imagine what would happen to a liberal in China who openly bashed the Chinese government? What libs do not realize, appreciate, or respect is that if they acted the same way in most foreign countries they would be jailed or executed in the blink of an eye.

We are blessed by the grace of God to live in the greatest country in the world. We have the freedoms, opportunities, and rights that millions of people across the world could never dream of. We are able to sustain our supremacy thanks to capitalism and democracy. We have capitalism and democracy thanks to the sacrifices of the world's strongest, smartest, and bravest military. Thanks to our brave soldiers, my America is truly the land that I love.
