Our great nation is under siege and under attack by liberal political correctness gone crazy. Recent news headlines over the past few months are proof that poltiical correctness coupled with the drive by media and a dash of far left politicians is the perfect recipe for the assault on common sense and traditional values.

Before I go further, my thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of the Ft. Hood Massacre. Despite the inexplicable and unexcusable attempted cover up by the Obama administration and main stream media, this massacre was a declaration of war- a jihad against America by a radical Muslim extremist. Make no mistake about it. A is A. Major Nidal Malik Hasan is a traitor to our country. He conspired with known Muslim terrorists throughout the world to commit jihad on the brave men and women in Ft. Hood. You will hear more from the current administration and the drive by media about how Hasan was the victim of an intolerant military. Gen. Casey spoke out, not against radical Islam, jihad, or Hasan, rather he spoke out in defense of...diversity. You see, to the current left wing administration and the elitist media, the only real tragedy here is now there are more Muslim "victims." I am not sure if it is arrogance or stupidity that forces the current administration to view the world through a pre-9/11 perspective - but said perspective is not only shameful, but it is dangerous and potentially deadly.

Here in Ohio, soon-to-be former Governor Ted Strickland recently put a hold on state executions, because medical personnel could not find a vein on Rommel Brown, a violent felon who was due to meet the needle. Lest we forget, he was set to receive lethal injection because he kidnapped, raped, and murdered a 14 year old Cleveland girl who was walking home from school. So he rapes and kills a 14 year old girl, but we should have sympathy for him because the medical technicians could not find a vein? No vein? No problem. I can think of half a dozen ways that this monster could be put to death, and none of them could be as cruel and/or unusual as what he put his victim through. But again, Rommel Brown is a victim, and the State feels obligated to make his death painless and harmless? Also in Ohio, Richard Cooey, who was put to death last year, appealed to the Supreme Court claiming that he is too fat to receive lethal injection. The needles may hurt him, as he claimed to be too fat to find a vein in a humaine manner. Here is all you need to know about Richard Cooey (taken from Wikipedia):

Early on the morning of September 1, 1986, Cooey, Dickens and Kenneth Horonetz, Jr. were throwing chunks of concrete off the Stoner Street Bridge onto U.S. Interstate 77 in Akron. One of the objects dropped by Dickens struck the car of a University of Akron student, Wendy Offredo, age 21. Also in the car was another student, Dawn McCreery, age 20.

Pretending to rescue the two students, the three men kidnapped them. Cooey, then age 19, and Dickens, age 17, took the women to a field where they beat, stabbed, tortured and raped them for three and a half hours, eventually beating them to death and abandoning the bodies.

Fast forward 22 years and Richard Cooey begs for clemency. Why? Because he claims to be a victim. How could we put someone morbidly obese to death? How could we be so cruel? How could we fail to see that he is a victim? Richard Cooey tried to play a card out of the deck of liberalism as he claimed to redefine the term "victim."

One of the biggest threats to our sovereignty, freedom, and prosperity is liberal poltical correctness. Their goal of creating new victims will only make all of our lives less safe and put us all in an increased chance of peril. Always think critically - ask questions, and remember, A is A. Simply because the drive by media is ignoring the fact that Major Nidal Malik Hasan is a radical, Islamic extremist that commited treason and jihad against America, does not mean that it is not true. If we are not careful, the number two cause of death in the United States will soon be political correctness (the number one cause of death for coming up on 37 consecutive years is "choice" - or what rational people refer to as baby killing - abortion).
