The United States Constitution A true conservative believes that the U.S. Constitution must be the guide for all debates, questions and issues that may arise in America. Our students would do well to read and study the Constitution in school, our representatives would do well to follow the Constitution as they govern, and most importantly, the U.S. citizens would do well to read and understand the Constitution prior to voting. Sadly, none of this is happening in America today. Below you'll find some of the hot-button issues today and on which side of those issues XEKE.com falls. TAXES I support across the board tax cuts for all Americans. Many liberal democrats claim that tax cuts are only for the wealthy, but this is not even close to being the truth. I thought the American dream was to get an education, get a job, and raise a family. I thought that once you get a job, the goal is to make as much money as possible. Growing up, I never wanted to make a lot of money, so that I could even more money to the government in taxes.
ABORTION I feel that abortion is the worst thing to happen to the human race since the holocaust and slavery. Abortion, slavery, and the holocaust were all legal and supported by the misguided souls of their time. Abortion should never be allowed, and there is no justifiable, legal justification for the slaughter and murder of society’s most precious lives, defenseless babies. Every day, thousands of innocent babies are tortured and killed in the United States by means of the abortion. Many people have asked me if I support abortion in the case of rape or incest. My answer is simple: two wrongs do not make a right. There are few things worse that occur in our society than rape, but I do not believe that a rape should be followed by the killing of the baby. The rapist should be punished, not the child. There are so many stories of women who were raped and kept their child, and how happy they were to have given birth to a miracle in the wake of the horror of rape. The same thing can be said about incest. A child should not be punished and killed because of incest. I often wonder how many babies that were aborted in the past 30 years could now be doctors curing cancer, or teachers helping teach a child that could cure heart disease. How many future doctors, teachers, police officers, soldiers, and other potentially great Americans have been aborted in the name of a “Woman’s Right to Chose?” President Lincoln, the father of the Republican party stood up to the misguided soles of his time and ended slavery. Hopefully President Bush can gather enough support, and nominate enough Conservative Supreme Court Justices (that can be approved by the baby-killing liberal Democrats), and end the slaughter of millions of innocent babies. GUN RIGHTS I support Conceal Carry laws, and I am glad that Governor Taft signed into law that Ohioans can legally carry concealed weapons. There are too many restrictions on gun holders, and those of us who support gun rights are shunned in liberal society. The liberal left must not be able to count to two, because if they could, they would understand that the 2nd Amendment clearly gives Americans the right to bear arms. If conceal carry laws were as bad as many uninformed opponents claim, the liberal media would drool over any story in which crime occurred because of conceal carry laws. Society is safer if licensed Americans carry guns. If Americans with a concealed weapon were on planes on September 11th, do you think the chances of the Muslim terrorists overtaking the planes would have been minimized? The fact is, CCW laws help to deter crime, and help to save other Americans from being victims of crime. I ask all guns rights supporters to vote for candidates that support Second Amendment rights, and let the liberal left know that our voice must be heard. DEFENSE OF MARRIAGE ACT I support DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act) and I would love to see an Amendment to the Constitution that defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman. It is sad that the liberals have forced society to defend and define this simple and basic function of human civilization, marriage. It is sad that liberals have created a controversy over marriage. It is sad that the government may have to legally define marriage as a union between a man and a woman. Will the left question why water is h20, and not h30? It is that simple and basic, just as water is h20, and that is indisputable, and idiotic to argue with, it is equally as idiotic and crazy to question that a marriage is simply one man and one woman. Christians are routinely labeled as “narrow minded” or the “Religious Right” simply because we have the common sense to realize and understand that marriage is the union of one man with one woman. I say this to all of my “narrow minded” friends in the “Religious Right” to vote for and support candidates that will sign and support DOMA or any other legal definition of marriage that clearly defines marriage as the union of a man and a woman. |
