GLOBAL WARMING:
Hype and Hypocrisy

The elitist liberal media has been force-feeding the global warming doomsday fictional reports down our throats the past few years. Until recently, thanks to Tennessee's favorite son, Al Gore (who did not win his own state in the 2000 Presidential election), we have been bombarded with insane ideas on how to protect the earth from the horrors and destruction of capitalism, growth, and progress. First of all, let me remind you that liberals are in fact, by definition, hypocrites.

"The planet has a fever!"

Al Gore has some insane idea that just because he created a science fiction tale known as "An Inconvenient Truth," that the world, especially the United States, must follow the Gospel According to Al. Keep in mind that "An Inconvenient Truth" is the liberals’ political version of L. Ron Hubbard’s "Scientology." These are both non-sensical science fiction fables, which for some unknown reason have actually been taken seriously. A few facts about Al Gore are that he does own land that is used for a zinc mine, he does have four mansions, he did spend more money on electricity in one year at one of his four estates more than any of us will use in one of our homes in an entire year. Al Gore also travels for his half-witted speaking engagements on a private jet. This is analogous to a pro-life politician not only supporting abortion, but routinely driving women to Planned Parenthood to have the violent and savage procedure executed.

Last night, MSNBC aired the first of the Democratic Presidential debates. Eight politicians, who claim to be environmentalists who are deeply concerned with global warming, each took a private jet to the debate in South Carolina. Not only did they waste thousands of dollars, but they proved their hypocrisy again. Hillary, Barack Hussein Obama, and John Edwards all look down upon the working man who drives a "gas guzzling" SUV or van, for destroying the environment, yet they criss-cross the country on their private jets. I am not saying there is anything at all wrong with taking a private jet cross country for any reason whatsoever.
What should you, the average American do to help out? Something. Nothing. Plant a tree.
I drive a gas guzzling SUV, and we have a gas guzzling conversion van that we use when we take family trips. I do have a problem with anyone, such as Al Gore, Hillary, Barack Hussein Obama, John Edwards, or any of their cronies who preach conservation, and damn anyone who does not drive a Prius or Hybrid, while kicking back and relaxing on their cross country flight on their private jet.

I am not a global warming expert, but then again, I am also not an expert on unicorns (or any other magical, fictitious fairy tales such as global warming). Is the earth's temperature rising? Does the planet have a fever, like Al Gore likes to say? Are the ice caps melting and polar bears struggling? Maybe. Maybe not. If they are, it has nothing to do with anything that man does or has done. The media loves to report over-hyped, sensationalized stories such as "last month was the warmest month in the past 29 years." Okay - great - but who cares? Here in Northeast Ohio, we have one of, if not the, coldest Februaries on record.
Global warming? Where was global warming for the first three weeks of March when we were forced indoors due to cold and snow? The earth's temperature has gone through changes over the past 4.5+ billion years. The temperature is hot, the temperature is cold, there is rain, drought, we have had natural disasters since the beginning of time. In fact, believe it or not, we have had naturally occurring weather changes even before the industrial revolution, and, even more shocking, we have had naturally occurring weather and climate change since before that evil President Bush and his evil administration decided that they wanted to ruin the world.

The Nature of Science

What should you, the average American do to help out? Something. Nothing. I personally do not care. Do you want to buy a $5 light bulb? If so, go ahead. They are supposed to last longer, and in the long run, be more cost efficient. If you can afford an expensive light bulb for each lamp and light in your house, by all means go do it. Do you want to buy a hybrid? Go ahead and do it. If you think that they are safe, and that if you get into an accident driving your little hybrid while I am driving my conversion van and you will survive and not get seriously injured, buy one today. Plant a tree. Throw your money down the drain and buy carbon offsets. Do whatever it is that you think is the right thing to do to fight the fallacy known as global warming, but do not legislate and force me to buy into these lies. In the mean time, I will continue enjoying life with my family, driving my conversion van, while hauling our camper to the lake, while we spend the day on our boat truly enjoying nature - the way God intended.
