THE ZEBRA STRIPES OF THE DEMOCRAT PARTY

Well, well, well.  The 2006 mid-term elections have come and gone.  The Democrats won the House.  The Democrats won the Senate.  Here in Ohio, Kenneth Blackwell lost to Ted Strickland in the Governor’s race.  Did anyone notice the lack of voter fraud this year?  What a coincidence that when Democrats win, there are not a seemingly infinite amount of law suits, challenges, and recounts.  Has anyone noticed Tim Russert has been on every NBC news program grinning from ear to ear? In one of the few Senate races that the Republicans won (Senator Corker in Tennessee), cries of racism are being levied.  XEKE.com knows how to call it, eh?  Truth be told, the Zebra stripes of the Democrat party never change.

It’s the economy stupid.  Remember those words?  How is the economy doing?  The stock market recently reached an all time high.  Hundreds of thousands of jobs have been created.  The economy only matters to Democrats when the economy is down AND the Republicans are in control.  The economy does not matter when Republicans are in control and things are looking good, or if the Democrats are in control and we are in a recession.  

2006 was a “Referendum on the Iraq War.”  Millions of Americans turned out to vote against the “unpopular war.”  What next?  What are the Democrats to do when the war is over?  When will the war be over?  The Democrats sold themselves on changing the course in Iraq.  Will America be safer when the Democrats, led by San Francisco Uber-Liberal-House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi and the Liberal Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid cut and run in Iraq?  Will America be safer when Muslim Terrorist states take credit for defeating America?  Will Iraqi’s who bravely came out in the millions to vote be safe when John Kerry and Jack Murtha “re-deploy” troops out of Iraq?  The problem with Democrats is that they took control of Congress by bad mouthing our troops (John Kerry and Dick Durbin), and promising to get out of Iraq.  They have the ultimate “Catch 22.”  If they set an artificial timetable to leave Iraq, America will be seen as weak and will have appeared to lose the War in Iraq.  Terrorists across the world will intensify their efforts to kill as many Americans as humanly possible.  If Democrats do not set an artificial time table in Iraq then they have won the 2006 elections based on a lie.  

The truth about Democrats is simple.  They have no plan. They have no Iraq plan.  They have no plan to keep the economy growing.  They have no plan to thwart future terrorist attacks.  They have no plan to stimulate job growth.  They have no plan to uphold Christian values.  Let’s see how fast Democrat talking heads begin to back off of the notion that their success in the 2006 elections were not a “referendum” on the Iraq War.  Remember, for the past year leading up to the elections, liberal-Democrat talking heads from Chris Matthews to Tim Russert to the journalistic hacks at the New York Times said that this election was a one-issue election-the Iraq War.  In order to attempt to save face, Democrat politicians, political hacks, and anti-American sympathizers (the “progressive” liberal media) will swiftly transition away from their ill-conceived idea that this was a one-issue election, because they simply do not have a plan for the future.  Liberals will always lie, cheat, and steal to get power, and then they will lie, cheat, and steal in order to maintain power.  The zebra stripes of the Democrat party never have, and never will change.
