LIBERAL COMEDY: Tired and Played XEKE.com is tired of the extreme liberal bias that not only exists in the mainstream media (New York Times, LA Times, CNN, NBC, CBS, etc.), but the hacks that have made it to actual prime time television. Do you remember the Seinfeld episode where Jerry uses his hand to say “Well hellooooo?” Towards the end, he had to decide between saying “Well hellooooo” and dating his girlfriend. After consulting with his friends, Kramer told him that it was “so played.” That is how some of these liberal hacks are becoming…tired and played.
Turn on the Daily Show with John Stewart any night, and the first few minutes are devoted to John making fun of President Bush and the Bush Administration, by showing clips of President Bush, usually taking quotes out of context, stopping the clip of President Bush short, then he (John Stewart) makes a “funny face” mocking Dubya, makes an absurdly stupid comment, and then the show goes on. Every day. Every time. Every show. Isn’t it funny that John Stewart’s former sidekick, Steve Carrel, has made it big in actual prime time TV (as opposed to being stuck in cable programming), and has had a successful start to a promising movie career? IF John Stewart is so brilliant, why does he diminish himself to making silly baby faces nightly after mocking President Bush? Talk about type cast, it appears that the only thing John Stewart is capable of is being not funny while bashing our President during a time of war. Bravo John Stewart, I am sure Bob Hope would be very proud of you. Who in the world is Lewis Black? I saw that he got a special on Comedy Central recently. I did not know that Gilbert Gottfried died and came back as a less funny, loud mouthed, liberal “comedian.” I use the term comedian loosely, as I do not want to offend any true comedians who are actually funny and have talent, as opposed to the liberal hack that is Lewis Black. It seems that Black’s M-O is to not be funny, and the un-funnier he gets, the louder he gets. It appears that the ingredients to being a successful “comedian” nowadays are simple: mix one part extreme liberal propaganda, one part condescending bashing of Conservatives and the traditional, Christian lifestyle, and one part complete lack of comedy or humor, and voila, you get a fat contract with Comedy Central. That being said, I am surprised that Rosie O’Donnell has not received her own show on Comedy Central, she personifies the aforementioned recipe for “comedic” success in today’s unabashed, unashamed, unrelenting extreme elitist liberal media. |
