THE GIPPER AND DUBYA The elitist liberal media would like Americans to believe that the Presidential election, which is still five months alive, is going to be one of the closest elections in history. The liberal left has a deep hatred for President Bush, and they do not try to hide their feelings about him. This hatred is similar to the lack of respect that President Reagan, America's greatest President. Dubya and the Gipper share a great deal of similarities, and the elitist left's blood boils when the thought of "Four More Years" crosses their mind. President Reagan and President Bush put God in the White House during their terms in office. The idea of God scares the hell out of liberal Democrats, no pun intended. Leftists, like those associated with the ACLU, spend millions of dollars in lawsuits across the country trying to eliminate the presence of God in America. Liberals want God out of schools, off of money, out of the Pledge of Allegiance, off of governmental seals, and pretty soon, with the far-out, non-common sense practiced by liberals, they will probably want God out of churches as well. President Bush supports pro-life issues, defense of marriage laws, and other Christian causes. Senator Kerry, who just so happens to have the most left wing, liberal voting record in the U.S. Senate, does not support or defend the life of babies, nor does he respect the sanctity of marriage. As a matter of fact, many Bishops across the United States, and across the world, have questioned if Kerry should even be allowed to receive Holy Communion. President Reagan ended the Cold War with his strong foreign policy, without a shot being fired. Reagan stared down the Evil Empire and brought it to its knees. The liberal left refused to give him the credit that he deserved for this historical defeat of a major global concern. On September 11, 2001, war was declared against the United States. President Bush acted swiftly and justly against those responsible for the worst attack on U.S. soil in American history. Thanks to President Bush's strong foreign policy, the Taliban's regime was crushed, and Afghanistan was freed from this oppressive government. U.S. forces captured Saddam Hussesin sometime later. Instead of accolades and praise from the left, Dubya was criticized for ending the rule of one of the most evil dictators that the world had ever known. Two of the biggest global threats, Cold War, and Saddam Hussein, were brought down by two of the greatest American Presidents, yet the elitist liberals focus on frivolous details such as weapons of mass destruction. First of all, the UN, Clinton both notified the world that Saddam Hussein had WMDs. It does not matter if we find them or not. It would help Dubya politically, but it does not matter. What does matter is that President Bush freed millions of Iraqi citizens, Americans, and the rest of the world, from Saddam Hussein, a global terror threat. President Reagan had an amazing economic policy, that was highlighted with historic tax cuts. Reagan's "trickle down" policy bolstered a struggling stock market, lowered inflation, lowered interest rates, and put into place a solid foundation for future years of economic growth. Reagan was mocked in the media for his "Reagan-omics," but history has proven the importance of his economic policy. President Bush was faced with a similar problem. Dubya inherited a recession from President Clinton. Through aggressive, economic stimulating tax cuts, President Bush led America out of recession. The stock market has recovered from its lows, mortgage rates remain at all time lows, and jobs are being created to the tune of 1.2 million this year alone. Senator Kerry has said that one of his first things as President of the United States would be to repeal these tax cuts. Kerry wants to repeal tax cuts that not only stimulated the economy out of a recession, but also took some of the burden off of hard working Americans. Lest we forget, Kerry supports any and all tax increases, including a proposal for a 57 cent/gallon on tax. The elitist left, and the liberal media is further out of tune with the average American than at anytime in history. The left underestimates that Americans want a strong military, low taxes, and a great majority of Americans have a love of God. While the elite, such as Kerry, Hillary, Babs, Sarandon, and all of the left wing newspapers and news programs are figuring out exactly how to eliminate the presence of God in America, while raising taxes, contemplating on how many more babies can be legally murdered, and cowering away from terrorism, much like the French, let's go out and rally behind President Bush, and never forget the legacy of America's greatest President, Ronald Wilson Reagan. |
