ENOUGH IS ENOUGH Is anyone else troubled and disturbed about the unbelievable news stories that have happened as of late? A quick recap of news stories over the past few weeks is enough to make a person with values and morals sick to their stomach. An innocent woman in Florida received a death sentence from our Judicial system, as she received fewer appeals rights than a convicted murderer, rapist, or child molester. Terri Schiavo was given a death penalty by her abusive husband, with the assistance of our failing judiciary system. A five year old miscreant was taken away from her school in handcuffs after she repeatedly assaulted school faculty members, and then the school and police were accused of being racist! The child was black, the teachers and police offers were white, and, as usual, the villain, in this case, the black five year old student, is made to be the victim. The country was shocked to see this five year old child acting like a wild animal. She kicked, punched, smacked, and destroyed everything in her path during her rampage, while patient educators had their hands tied by liberal laws that restrict teachers from properly punishing out of control students. A mentally handicapped middle school girl was physically and sexually assaulted outside of Columbus, Ohio while a crowd of cheering onlookers observed for over a half an hour. A group of middle schoolers forced their classmate to perform oral sex as they molested her and punched her in the face, while classmates laughed, cheered, and took pictures. This disgusting story gets even worse. When the principal was notified of what had taken place, and the father was called and informed, the father was reportedly urged NOT to contact the police, because the school wanted to handle the situation internally! The principals and administrators in charge need to be fired immediately. The students who assaulted the mentally handicapped girl need to be tried as adults with rape and assault, and hopefully be sentenced to the maximum allowable jail sentence. The students who allowed the assault to happen, and took pictures and refused to seek assistance should all be expelled for the rest of the year, and flunk this current school year. One more twist to this disgusting story. The mayor of Columbus, Michael Coleman, a Democratic gubernatorial candidate, said in an interview that as a man and as a father, that he was NOT outraged by the rape and assault of the Columbus area girl. Lets show him that he is not welcome to run our great state when it comes time to elect Ken Blackwell or Jim Petro as the next governor of Ohio. We have had a new Pope elected, a man of strong faith, morals, and values. Upon the announcement of his election, local newspaper columnist, Regina Brett, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, was stunned that a conservative Pope was elected, as opposed to a moderate or liberal. I was stunned with Regina Bretts obvious ignorance regarding Catholicism and Christianity. Brett was crossing her fingers and toes hoping that the next Pope would support the slaughter of innocent babies, the destruction of human life in the practice of risky medicine without morals (stem cell research), and openly welcome sinful same sex marriages. My advice to Regina Brett and her ilk is to try holding your breath next time, that way Brett and people of her ilk can prevent themselves from sticking their foot in their mouth. The elitist liberal left is holding true to their blatant disregard of truth, honesty, and integrity. The left is not allowing President Bushs judicial nominees to even receive a fair vote in the Senate. The party that claims that every vote counts, that boasts that everyone should Vote or Die, and the same party that demands recounts more often than Senator Clinton flip flops (in an effort to appear to be moderate, and not the elitist leftist that she is) refuses to allow fair, noble, honorable judges so simply receive a vote on the Senate floor. Remember, Democrats only want every DEMOCRAT vote to count, because obviously Republicans only receive votes as a result of cheating (vast right wing conspiracy) or if they simply voted for the wrong candidate (Presidential election-2000-Florida). While elitist, leftist, anti-American Democrats are on my mind, lest we forget the irresponsible rhetoric that is being spewed to unwitting Americans regarding social security. Social security is a huge concern for America. As usual and expected, President Bush has taken correct, decisive action to correct the social security dilemma. As usual and expected, President Bush is receiving an enormous amount of opposition and friction from the left. The AARP recently claimed that social security is fine, and reform is not necessary. The AARP does not want Americans to have the CHOICE to have a say in their own retirement and social security benefits. The AARP has hundreds of millions of dollars in the markets as we speak, but they do not want the honest, hard working American middle/working class to be able to reap the rewards that come from market choice. If I may refer to Pro Choice Conservative Catholic-in the archives of XEKE.com, the elitist liberal left only supports a choice if the result of that choice is the painful slaughter of innocent children. Gas prices are outrageous. In Northeast Ohio, gas prices soared to a high of $2.34 in the past couple of weeks. I know that relative to foreign nations, our gas prices are lower, but I do not care. I do not care if gas costs $5.00/gallon in Europe. I do not care if gas costs $10.00/gallon in Europe. I only care that gas prices are out of control here in the good old U S of A. Something needs to be done. Drilling in ANWAR needs to begin now. Refineries need to be built now. Foreign oil independence must be minimized. I am tired of paying the price of lunatic tree hugging domestic terrorist liberals who would rather see these insane gas prices, than allow domestic drilling and production increases. Other than increased drilling, especially in ANWAR, and an increase of refineries, XEKE.com supports the elimination of mid-grade gas-89 octane. A very, very small fraction of the public uses mid-grade fuel. Almost no automobiles require mid-grade gas. An elimination of mid-grade gas would allow for an increase of regular gas production, and hopefully lead to a stabilization of fuel prices. What advice do I have for readers of XEKE.com? Keep voting for true Conservative candidates. Do not simply vote for the right candidate, but become involved, volunteer, donate time or money, and inform others. That being said, the most important thing we can do is to continue to pray (not only for those who share our views, but those who are misguided and do not truly know right from wrong.) |
