THE CASE FOR PRESIDENT BUSH

September 11, 2001 will be forever etched in the minds of every American. The pre-September 11 days are gone, and life as we know it may never be the same. When the militant, evil, Islamic fundamentalists hijacked four planes and crashed them in to the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and a failed attempt to fly a second plane into our nation's capital, America changed. Terrorism had occurred many times before 9-11, but it had never been dealt with properly. President Bush brought a battered New York City and Washington DC, and bruised American public back with swift, decisive, necessary action, and strong leadership. President Bush acted justly in freeing Afghanistan from the Taliban, and brought the end to their repressive regime. President Bush received authorization from Congress to preemptively attack Saddam Hussein and Iraq. After the United Nations failed numerous times to enforce resolutions, President Bush led America into Iraq. Foreign leaders, such as French President Jacques Chirac, failed to help out on the war on terror, and the war in Iraq, because they were involved with oil deals with Saddam Hussein, and did not want to risk losing oil deals for the good of global safety. With the strength of the American military might, Saddam Hussein, along with his sons, and former leaders of Iraq, were captured or killed, and the innocent people of Iraq no longer live in fear of rape rooms, torture rooms, and mass genocide. Women and children are taking part in the new Iraq, and the world was saved from one of histories most notorious killers, monsters, and terrorist. Liberia voluntarily surrendered their nuclear program, in fear of United States' military might. Most of al Qaeda has either been captured or killed. The remaining al Qaeda leaders are on the run. Before President Bush decisively took action against terrorists, al Qaeda was able to set up shop in such places as Afghanistan and Iraq. Now, what is left of al Qaeda is on the run. They are still dangerous. They still strive to destroy America. They are still the backbone of global terrorism, but they are running, and being killed and captured. Thanks to the Patriot Act, law enforcement has the necessary tools and resources to hunt down terrorism. President Bush needs help from Congress to assure that the Patriot Act remains in tact to protect Americans from the evils of terrorism. Usama bid Laden is going to be caught soon. His capture or death will be a great day in human history, but there are others out there. UBL surely has more leaders with direct orders to kill and destroy America. President Bush has continued to remind America that the war on terror and the war in Iraq will not be easy. War is not fun. War is not pretty. Unfortunately, war is necessary at times, and in this situation, the war in Iraq and the war on terror are both necessary for the safety of America and the rest of the world. President Bush has shown unwavering strength as he has lead American and the world in an effort to take on terrorism, and win. The war on terror will not be won in a single battle. The war on terror will be defeated with strong leaders, such as President Bush, and their 100% commitment to fighting terrorism on a global stage. President Bush has made it clear that we do not need permission from foreign leaders to defend America from terrorism. President Bush has acted swiftly and justly as he defends America from the most evil face of human history, global terrorism.

President Bush inherited a recession from former President Clinton. With an inherited recession, and the economic impact of 9-11, America could have easily been bogged down in a lengthy recession, and possible depression. President Bush signed into law the biggest tax breaks since President Reagan in 1986. Thanks to tax cuts, and the actions of Alan Greenspan, the economy turned around quickly. Approximately 1.8 million jobs have been created in the past two years. Many manufacturing jobs are leaving the United States, especially in Ohio. More manufacturing jobs left during the last two years of President Clinton's presidency than in President BushÂ’s term. In the future, most domestic manufacturing jobs will be obsolete. Much like the decline of farming and agriculture on the economy and jobs force of yesteryear, manufacturing jobs will be few and far between. Emphasis will be on technology, services, and other positions in which America has a competitive advantage over the rest of the world. President Bush led America out of an inherited recession, and into an economy that is experiencing growth and prosperity. President Bush has a vision of the future economy, and has plans to lead America into a flourishing future. The unemployment rate is lower than it was in the 1970's, 80's, and 90's. Home ownership is at an all time high. Jobs are being created. The skills, training, and education needed to succeed in the present and future economy are available. Tax cuts work. Tax cuts worked in the 1980's with President Reagan. Companies such as Microsoft were able to spend less on taxes and more on research and development. As a result of tax cuts, jobs are created, and America prospers. Ronald Reagan knew that tax cuts would stimulate a slumping economy. President Bush knew this as well, and thanks to his historic tax cuts, the greatest economy in the world rebounded and is growing.

President Bush has signed into law important legislation that will help all Americans, from children to the elderly. President signed sweeping, historic Medicare reform into law. Prescription drug coverage is available for millions of seniors who were helpless and hopeless. These Medicare reforms were the biggest and reached the most seniors since the conception of Medicare. Thanks to President Bush, millions of senior citizens now have access to affordable health care and prescription drug coverage. President Bush is not only helping the elderly, he is helping the youth of America fulfill their potential with important, necessary education reform. No Child Left Behind is an important bill that gives children hope and help. Before President Bush, the American education system was systematically destroying the youth of America. Thanks to President Bush, teachers are accountable. Teachers can no longer rubber stamp vulnerable, needy children and pass them along the way. Some teachers do not like the education reform, because it forces them to reach and teach all children. They can no loner turn a blind eye to their students. When a child does have a deficiency, the needs are identified, and a plan of action can be implemented to aid in the success of that child. President Bush needs the continued funding from Congress to make sure that No Child is Left Behind. Children and elderly both have benefited from the decisive, necessary, important, historic legislation that President Bush signed into law, and even more help is on the way.

President Bush is not afraid to wear his religion on his sleeve. America was founded on values and morals. America must maintain the same core values in order to continue to survive. President Bush is clear in his values and morals. A marriage is the union of a man and a woman. Marriage is not the union of two men, two women, a man and nine women, a woman and eight men, or the union of a man and an animal. It is sad that many states are being forced to "redefine" marriage with state Constitutional Amendments, but it is necessary reality in today's system of liberal judges. President Bush will nominate judicial appointments who uphold the law, not judges with an agenda to destroy the moral fabric that our great country was founded on. President Bush understands that life begins at conception. President Bush signed into law a partial birth abortion ban. Congress had passed partial birth abortion bans under President Clinton, but he vetoed these life saving bans every chance he had. Even now, liberal judges with an obvious agenda are trying to overturn the ban on these gruesome acts. Liberal congressman and judges feel that a woman has the right to abort her baby up to and including the time of delivery. President Bush stands with America when he clearly stated that partial birth abortion is wrong. Diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and others are devastating. Anyone who has had a family member of loved one suffer from these horrible diseases are all to familiar with how the mind is ravaged by disease. Cures for diseases such as cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and others are prayed for daily by millions of Americans. A cure for these diseases must not come because of a destruction of human life. The America left preaches stem cell research. They do not discuss the medical breakthroughs that adult stem cell research has developed. The liberal media does not report the benefits of stem cells in umbilical cords. President Bush is painted as a President who does not support stem cell research. The truth is that President Bush does support stem cell research. President Bush supports adult stem cell research. President Bush supports stem cell research from umbilical cords. President Bush does not support the slaughter and destruction of human life for the off chance that a medical miracle may occur. Like millions of American, President Bush proudly wears his religion on his sleeve. President Bush uses morals and values to help lead American to prosperity as enemies, both domestic, and foreign, wage war on our daily life.

President Bush offers a refreshing alternative to typical politics. President Bush does what he says he is going to. President Bush acts in the best interest of America and Americans. President Bush does not allow foreign leaders to dictate how he will defend America. President Bush relies on the guidance of God to assure simple, basic, family values and morals for our society. Many politicians will say whatever it takes to get elected. Many politicians will promise anything and everything to win an election, knowing that what they are saying and doing is wrong and not realistic. President Bush has a strong vision of the future of America. With the steadfast leadership of President Bush, his unwavering commitment to the war on terror, strong, sound economic policy, and his strong faith in God, America will continue to be the shining light on the hill.
