Angry Eyes

So, what's the deal with all of these angry Democrats? I thought that liberals and Democrats were supposed to be accepting and kind and that Republicans and especially Conservatives were supposed to be hateful and angry. I guess CNN and CBS may have profiled voters incorrectly.

When is the last time you saw a "negative" Pro Bush bumper sticker? The most “negative” anti-Kerry bumper sticker I have seen is "Veterans for Truth." To most people, this would not be negative at all, but to the Kerry campaign, "truth" is an ugly, mean spirited five-letter word that haunts the Senator from Massachusetts like the scary monster under the bed of a six year old.

Seemingly every pro-Kerry supporter has something negative to say. My favorite is "Aybody But Bush." This summarizes Kerry's support. In a nutshell, even most Democrats do not support their party's candidate. The hateful, unpatriotic, anti-American, LLBKC (see archive for definition-hint: Liberal Left Baby Killing Club), tree hugging, tax raising, flag burning members of the liberal left do not necessarily support John Kerry, they just want President Bush and his proven history of leadership, economic, domestic, and foreign policy replaced with "Aybody But Bush." "Aybody But Bush." Does this mean Jacques Chirac? The liberal left supports him more than W. Saddam Hussein? The liberal left wing of the Democratic party feels that W is worse than Hussein, and they honestly believe that Iraq was better off with Hussein in power.

I think that the Democrats will look back and wonder why they did not chose a better candidate, such as Senator Edwards. Was I the only Conservative in 1996 that wondered if Senator Dole was really the best choice for the Republicans to use to run against Clinton? I feel that in the next 50 months or so, Democrats will be asking themselves "Why Kerry?"

I have said it once, I have written it here before, and I will say it again, I believe that the election will be not be razor thin. I hope that the hard working field staffers and leadership at the RNC, employees for Bush-Cheney '04 and Victory '04, and other grass root activists continue to work hard over the next few weeks. I hope that everyone working to re-elect President Bush feels like the margin on November 2nd will be razor thin, that way they will not relax, will not "mail it in," and will continue to work their 14+ hour days. The RNC has a very crucial plan they are implementing. I was privileged to be part of this plan. I will go into further details in the coming weeks, but if the plan works correctly, there may be a continued and sustained shift in the political voting landscape. This being said, I do not believe that the election will be close. I believe that those of us living on the East coast can go to bed at 11:30 on election night, and not have to stay up until the results come in from the West Coast, knowing that we are blessed to have Dubya for four more years.
