"Democratic America?"
Questions from an American Citizen

Are we still the land of the free and the home of the brave? I believe we are. Are we still the same country that was founded over 200 years ago? Sadly, I do not believe we are.

When the people are ruled by special interest groups, we are not the same country. When a President selects tax cheats for his cabinet, we have a corrupt government. When the President fires private industry CEOs and replaces them rather than letting the company do what it feels is best, he no longer acts as a President but as a dictator. When a President socializes our government, we no longer have a democracy.

At least 36 czars have been appointed by President Obama. Where have I heard that term before...Oh, yeah, Russia! Where in the Constitution does it say the president has the authority to appoint czars? Who do they answer to? How much are they paid?

It is time to fight for your country.

The stimulus/TARP payouts put the U.S. into debt forever. Where does the government get the authority for that? By the way, have they even spent 25% of those funds that we "so desperately needed?" How much have they spent, where is the openness?

Where in the Constitution does it authorize out government to take over banks? Or the automotive industry? Or our healthcare? If these things don't disturb you they should.

Does the direction your government is taking upset you? It certainly upsets me and I will tell you why: I believe in our constitution and the principles this country was founded on. Our government was founded "of the people, by the people, and for the people." If you believe in the same way, it is time to fight for your country before it is to late.
