COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY:
A Microcosm of Liberal Campuses

By now we all now that Columbia University welcomed the world's most dangerous man, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, with open arms, to speak on their campus. The ultra left leaning university defended their actions by cowardly hiding behind the cloak of "Freedom of Speech." First of all, let me make this perfectly clear, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the President of Iran, does not have any Constitutional rights granted to him. Ahmadinejad is one of the foremost terror sponsors in the world, and Lee Bolinger, President of Columbia University should be ashamed of himself for inviting this evil man on his campus.

Bollinger said that he invited Ahmadinejad to speak at his campus, because Columbia University supports freedom of speech. The funny thing is that not too long ago, Bolinger did absolutely nothing when a group of knuckleheads heckled and booed the Minutemen off of the campus. The Minutemen, who simply attempt to enforce our borders and our laws, were booed off the stage by a group of elitist, snobby, snotty Ivy League "pinheads." Ahmadinejad, who denounces homosexuality, women, speech, the holocaust, and has threatened to wage war against the U.S. and Israel somehow was not booed off the stage. In the bizzaro world of Columbia University elitism and hypocrisy, the student body was more tolerant for the world's most dangerous man than they were for a group of true American heroes. Furthermore, Lee Bollinger supports the campus in not allowing the ROTC on campus. I guess Lee Bollinger only supports freedom of speech if you are the leader of a foreign nation that has denied the holocaust and wishes to destroy America, and will not allow freedom of speech to be afforded to real, true, proud Americans.

Tax dollars go to these institutions who spit in the face of a large number of Americans.
As I stated before, Ahmadinejad kills homosexuals, stones women, oppresses his people, denies the holocaust, and has threatened nuclear attacks on the Israel and to destroy America. Where was NOW (National Organization of Women) to protest this man? Where were the pro-gay groups? Where were the rainbow flags? Where were the burly women and the feminine men with their megaphones? Where were the far left crazies that always show up to President Bush events? They accuse Bush of being the devil, a facist, a terrorist, hostile to women and gays. Of course they are blatantly wrong, but they had the opportunity to organize and rally against a truly evil man who wants to annihilate the West, yet they were nowhere to be found.

As an undergrad at Kent State University, our campus was going to invite Bill O'Reilly to speak on campus. After weeks of character assassination, the university decided not to invite Bill O'Reilly on campus because his views did not represent those of the campus. Not a few months later the very same campus leadership overwhelmingly approve to appropriate the funds to bring uber liberal, America hating, Michael Moore to the university. This same university, that I embarrassingly call my alma mater, allows a known America-hating jihadist, Professor Julio Pino, to continue his misguided lectures and rants against Christianity and the West. Please allow me to recap the political overtones of Kent State University. Bill O'Reilly cannot come to campus because he does not represent the views of the campus, but Michael Moore and a known jihadist, Julio Pino, are allowed on campus, because they do represent the views of the campus.

What happened today on the campus of Columbia University and what happened a few years ago at Kent State University are a microcosm of the ultra left leaning, hostile, out of touch opinions of modern day colleges and universities across the country. Tax dollars go to these institutions who spit in the face of a large number of Americans, and it is time that college presidents are held accountable for their actions. It is important to familiarize yourself with what is going on in and around the colleges and universities in your area. These institutions rely heavily on tax payers' dollars, and should not be able to exploit the student body to advanced a far left agenda, at the expense of tuition paying students.
