SUMMIT COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY:
New Direction Needed

XEKE.com is operated out of Cuyahoga Falls, which is the second largest city in Summit County, next to Akron. Akron has arguably some of the worst schools in Northeast Ohio, crime is high, drug use and gang activity is at record levels. If you cannot tell by the anecdotal evidence, Akron is a city that is dominated by Democrat politicians. For the most part, the rest of Summit County is a nice place to call home.

One of the few drawbacks to living in Summit County is the political leadership, or the lack there of. Now, I could go on and on for hours listing the problems with the Democrat party- that is like shooting fish in a barrel. That being said, the Summit County Republican Party has been ruled by Alex Arshinkoff for the past three decades. In that time, the winning percentage of the Alex Arshinkoff makes the Cleveland Indians of the 1980s and early 1990s look like World Series contenders. I have nothing personal against Alex. I do not know him personally. He does not know me personally. I am actively working with State Senator Kevin Coughlin, and hundreds of other Summit County Republicans, to oust Alex from the reigns of our once great party. Alex and his supporters have levied an all out blitz of negative, personal attacks against Kevin Coughlin and his supporters. Heck, I have even been the subject of personal attacks from Alex's group.

Alex [Arshinkoff]'s lack of leadership has turned our party into the black hole of local politics.

XEKE.com recently made the pages of the op-ed page of Summit County's largest newspaper (the Akron Beacon Journal) for the first time, speaking out against Alex's leadership. Keep in mind: I have never discussed the homosexual rumors that have been associated with Alex, because I do not know all of the details, and because I want to stick to the facts. The facts are clear. Alex's lack of leadership has embarrassed the party, his lack of leadership has allowed the Summit County Democrat Party to run roughshod over local politics, and Alex's lack of leadership has turned our party into the black hole of local politics. Recently, State Rep. John Widowfield, an accomplished state representative, lost a Clerk of Courts race to a Democrat who was a secretary with a degree in dance. Why did John lose what should have been a slam dunk victory for our party? Alex Arshinkoff. Alex Arshinkoff was busy frivolously wasting away party money, and too preoccupied with dirty politics, that he neglected Widowfield, and virtually gave the election away.

Kevin Coughlin is the hope of our party- not only in Summit County, but in the state of Ohio. XEKE.com predicts that Kevin will be either the next Governor or the next U.S. Senator from Ohio, because of his strong voting record and leadership in the State Capitol. Kevin had the courage to stand up to Alex, in an effort for real political change in Summit County, and he has been bullied and beaten for his hard work. XEKE.com is proud to stand with Senator Coughlin, as he leads the Summit County Republican Party in the "right direction" and we will stand next to Senator Coughlin as he advances his political career all the way to the Governor's mansion or Washington D.C.
