THE CHOICE IS CLEAR:
2008 Presidential Election (Part I)
As we approach the Iowa Caucus and the official kickoff to the 2008 Presidential Election, the differences between the Republican Party and the Democrat Party have never been clearer. This is a classic example of the battle of good versus evil, and makes no mistake about it, the GOP is staring evil right in the eye, and her name is Hillary Clinton.
On every meaningful issue that is relevant in the 2008 Presidential election, the Democrat Party is on the wrong side of history. The GOP must win this historic Presidential election, or the safety, welfare, and prosperity of our great, sovereign nation will be in grave danger.

The Democrats have made it perfectly clear what their stance on the War on Terror is: appeasement and surrender.

Immigration
The Democrats want to grant every illegal immigrant amnesty immediately. Despite the overwhelming opposition to illegal immigration, the Democrat Party is prostituting themselves to illegal immigrants, in an effort to gain millions of more voters, who rely on a nanny state to solve all of their problems. The (true) Republicans support and embrace legal immigration. We are a nation that was built on legal immigrants, not criminal aliens. Republicans support building a fence (Congress has already approved the funding), to defend and protect our sovereignty and our citizens from threats of alien thugs, drug trafficking, and terrorists. We support a fair pathway to citizenship, that will allow legal immigrants to enter our country, but we do not, and will not, support an open border policy that the Democrats embrace.
The War on Terror
The Democrats have made it perfectly clear what their stance on the War on Terror is: appeasement and surrender. The Democrats want to cut and run, making the Middle East, as well as Main Street America, and the rest of the world, infinitely more susceptible to terrorist attacks. Hillary, Barack Hussein Obama, and their ilk, risk serious bodily injury to their elbows and shoulders due to excessively waiving the white flag. The GOP has this silly idea that the goal of war is victory. The Dems want to surrender, the GOP wants to win. We have this crazy idea that the world is a better, safer place, when al Qaeda and Osama (not Obama, Senator Kennedy), are on the run. We have this fanatical notion that we must stay on the offensive, and do everything humanly possible to prevent another attack on our soil. Yes, I will say it, water boarding is A-Okay. If one innocent American life can be spared by water boarding a radical, Islamic terrorist, then I say water-board until the well runs dry. The Dems, on the other hand, feel that it is more important to respect the radical Muslim terrorist who is trying to destroy America, than protect Americans.
Taxes
President Bush inherited a recession from President Clinton, our economy took a major step back after the attacks on 9-11, but thanks to responsible and common sense tax cuts, the economy has grown at a robust pace, we have record-low unemployment numbers, we have seen a record number of home ownership, and people are actually able to save/spend the money that they earn. The Dems want to take all of your hard earned dollars and "redistribute" your money. They want to give your tax dollars to programs like S-CHIP, so that a family with a household income of $64,000+ can have free health insurance for their 25 year old child. Hillarycare is a massive government plan that will cost hundreds of billions of dollars, and will provide the worst form of health care in the world. Hillary also wants to give every child born every year $5,000 towards college. Hillary wants to give everyone $1,000 to start their own 401(k). Entitlement programs are already paralyzing our national economic infrastructure. Social security, Medicare, and Medicaid entitlements are breaking the backs of millions of hard working Americans, and the Dems feel that we need to add MORE entitlement programs. The Dems want to "tax the rich." First of all, XEKE.com vehemently opposes a "success tax." The American dream is to get a good education (even though the public school system in America is more concerned about advancing a liberal agenda, than actually teaching our children), get a good, high paying job, and be able to afford a nice home, a couple of nice cars (or gas guzzling trucks/SUVs), possibly a boat, a nice 401(k)/IRA, any/and all luxuries that one could imagine. The American dream is not to work hard, get a good job, make good money, and then have the Federal Government steal your paycheck and give it to some low-life derelict who is too lazy, dump, stupid, incompetent, or all of the above to even attempt to succeed in life.
I have touched on three key topics that will way heavily on the minds of voters in 2008. In the coming days/weeks, I will continue my series "THE CHOICE IS CLEAR: 2008 Presidential Election" and I will discuss topics such as global warming/environmental issues, social issues, guns, and more.
