PRO-CHOICE CONSERVATIVE CATHOLIC   I am a Pro-Choice Conservative Catholic. Now, before you question whether or not I will accept the Holy Eucharist at Mass Sunday, please let me explain myself.   I do not understand why the liberal left is so afraid of the word "abortion". Could it be because they know that the word itself has such a negative, bone chilling,
That being said, I am a Pro-Choice Conservative Catholic. I feel that I should have the choice to carry a concealed weapon. I feel that I should have the choice to carry a gun legally to protect myself, my family, and other innocent people from the misguided evildoers of the world. Why does the elitist liberal media not refer to me as "Pro Choice?" The left wing liberal media refers to people who share my views on guns as "Pro Gun." I support President Bush's leadership on the global view on terrorism. Dubya has done a great job, better than Al Gore would have done, and better than Senator Kerry could ever do. President Bush is acting in the best interest of Americans to ensure the safety of all of us. President Bush has led the world against an evil that the world has never seen. I support the war on terror.   I support President Bush. What does the liberal media refer to people like you and me that steadfastly support our President and the war on terror? Do they call us "Pro Choice?" No. We are "Pro War" or "war mongers".   I support drilling for oil in Alaska. I embrace lower fuel prices with minimal disruption to wild life and its natural habitat. I support drilling oil because it would lower gas prices, lower our dependency on foreign oil, create thousands of high paying jobs, and it is just makes sense. Liberal politicians will lead you to believe that the welfare of an obscure plant, fish, or amoeba may be harmed. There is empirical evidence from previous drilling projects that the wildlife does not suffer, but it actually flourishes. I have to be honest; I do not care about an obscure fish that nobody has ever heard of. I am concerned that gas prices are $2.00 per gallon and rising. If a hard working, middle class American family can save $20/month on lower gas prices, I say go for it. If an American family can save $250 a year on gas prices due to expanded fuel exploration, I say go for it. Who cares about some obscure fish that nobody has ever heard of? Liberal politicians such as Tom Daschle, Hillary, and their group of tree-hugging elitists would prefer high tax prices, such as Senator Kerry's fifty-seven cent per gallon tax increase, and greater dependency on foreign oil. The media would say that these ideas are not "environmentally friendly".   I support low taxes on all Americans. I support tax cuts for everyone, especially those who have worked hard to be successful. I support across the board tax cuts. Why should a person who works hard and makes six-figures be taxed more because he or she is successful? Why should there be a tax on death? A tax on marriage? A tax on your estate when you die? Why do liberal democrats get pleasure out of taxing hard working Americans to death, and even after death? I support a reduction in taxes on dividends. Why do elitist liberals feel that it is necessary to tax elderly people, and those on fixed incomes who rely on dividends from stock purchases to the point that they have a hard time affording quality health care? The liberal media, which is bed with liberal politicians, call tax cuts as "tax cuts for the rich".   I support strong family values. I support marriage for all Americans. When I say marriage, I mean marriage. I mean the union of a man and a woman. What happened to common sense in America? When did defining a marriage as a union of a man and a woman become "bigoted and hateful". It is not. Do not let elitists try to convince you other wise. America is great because of its strong values and morals. There are few greater values than the union of a man and a woman (marriage). I love my dog, Happy. Should I be able to "marry" her? I mean I do love her. She sleeps in my bed every night. She has feelings and emotions. Should I be able to marry her? Of course not. This same logic is why marriage is between a man and a woman. Liberals in the media and politics call people like you and me who share this view on marriage as "bigots" and "hateful".   So here we are again. I am a Pro Choice Conservative Catholic. I am Pro-Life, because I embrace human life. I am a war monger and pro-war because I support President Bush and the war on terror. I am not environmentally friendly because I want cheaper gas prices and greater independence on oil. I support tax cuts for the rich, because I support tax cuts for all hard working Americans and the elderly. I am a bigot and hateful because I have common sense enough to know that a marriage is between man and woman. A person who supports the slaughter of babies, to the tune of 4,000+ per day, is "Pro-Choice", and not Pro-Abortion, or Anti-Life, and has the love and admiration of the elitist media and politicians.   It is time for a common sense approach to life, news, politics, and sports. Xeke.com is here to serve you and will put the "spin" of common sense to its readers. |
