CUYAHOGA FALLS, OHIO (330)923-3660 Jimmy's Cafe, located at the corner of Chestnut and State Rd. in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, is one of Northeast Ohio's most well-known, best-kept secrets (if such a thing exists). Jimmy's Cafe is an eclectic and diverse coffee shop. From the freshly squeezed lemonade, to the best hot chocolate in Cuyahoga Falls, Jimmy's offers a wide variety of specialty coffees, pastries, and Monday through Saturday they offer Cajun cuisine. When you walk in to Jimmy's , you may confuse the eclectic coffee shop for a local art gallery. The decor is unique, the atmosphere is diverse, and the experience is relaxing and enjoyable. The owner, Jimmy Van Hoos is a Falls native who played in the NFL with the New Orleans Saints. The prices are relatively reasonable to most coffee shops. I dropped $8.00 on lemonade, hot chocolate, and two blueberry muffins. In the back of my mind I was thinking for the same price, I could have had two breakfasts at Gloria's in Kent, with eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast, but a lot of people go to coffee shops for the experience. The service is friendly and warm. After my first experience at Jimmy's Cafe, I felt welcome and would surely go back for the best hot chocolate in town. Jimmy's Cafe is the perfect place to meet to catch up with an old friend during your lunch hour, or take an hour out of your busy weekend to enjoy this grand experience.
