HARTVILLE KITCHEN

Hartville, OH

Chances are if you have lived in Northeast Ohio during the past 38 years, you have eaten at the Hartville Kitchen, in Hartville, Ohio. Hartville Kitchen is known for two things, great home cooked dinners and very long lines. If you are looking for a great, home style, meat and potatoes type restaurant, Hartville Kitchen is the best place in Northeast Ohio. Unless you arrive at an odd time of the day, expect to wait in line for half and hour or more. You may have to wait in line, but it will be worth your time. The food prices have steadily increased over the years, and now just about every meal is over $9.00. Hartville Kitchen has a menu that consists of your typical dinner selections (roast beef, roast pork, chicken, fish, etc.) and you have the choice of three side dishes, delicious dinner rolls, and friendly, prompt service in a very clean, comfortable atmosphere, and awesome desserts.

If you happen to have room for dessert after your huge, delicious dinner, HK offers a wide variety of home made pies and other desserts. A family of four may have to pay upwards of $30 for the meal, so it is not as cheap as some of the other restaurants that have been reviewed by xeke.com, but the food, quality, atmosphere, and service are unbeatable. It seems that most restaurants, especially chain restaurants have lofty prices, but the food quality and service are not up to par.

If you are looking for a nice place to eat with a friend or family, and you are not on a tight budget, stop by the Hartville Kitchen, and if you have room, try the brownie sundae for dessert . . . you can thank me later.
