MARTY'SBIKE SHOP If you know me personally, you know that I support local businesses as much as I can. I long for yester year where you bought bread at the local bakery, meat from the local butcher, and a bike at the local bike shop. Nowadays, we go to Super WalMart where we buy the cheapest products (not just inexpensive, but cheaply produced/assembled/manufactured) goods from China. I admit it, I am guilty as well. When I am pressed for time on a busy weekend, I stop at the local Super WalMart where I buy groceries, diapers, cleaning supplies, etc. That being said, there is something about the quality products, excellent service, and family pride from buying goods and services from the local mom and pop shop. My wife and I each bought a new bicylce a couple of years ago from Marty's Bike Shop, located on Rt. 59 in Stow, Ohio, less than 1/2 mile West of Rt. 91 (as well as Montrose, Willoughby Hills, Akron, and North Olmstead). The owners are friendly, knowledgeable, and have an obvious passion for bikes. The pricing, service, and expertise is unmatched. Keep in mind, I am 6'8" 255 pounds, so it has always been difficult for me to find a bike that fits right at Dick's Sporting Goods, WalMart, Target, etc. Marty's found the perfect bike for me, at a great price. We were so pleased with our service, that we went back the same day and bought my wife a bike too. This spring, we took my wife's bike in with a baby seat that was given to us by a neighbor, and the folks at Marty's Bike Shop installed it professionally, at a very reasonable rate. If you have a passion for riding, if you are a weekend warrior, or if you are like me and you like to take a ride around the neighborhood (or the campground on your Summer camping excursions) on a nice, warm evening, Marty'sBike Shop is the place for you. XEKE.com is proud to endorse Marty's Bike Shop. Stop in soon, and tell them that XEKE.com sent you, and you can thank me later. |
